When I look back at 2021, there are several highlights that come to mind. There’s no way to highlight all of them, but here are a few . . .
One of those highlights was the Family Summer Camp at Ceta Canyon. What a joy it was to be with the families to help encourage them, pray with and for them, and to experience each other.
Another highlight was on Feb. 2, the World Day of Consecrated life and how some people showed up at our front door to sing to us and hold up signs of love (see picture below).
A great memory was also the Authentic Femininity Mini-Retreat – what a great joy to be with the young ladies who are hungry for God and want to live as God intends with the gifts of their femininity.
Another great reality in our lives has been the amazing response of the Coffee Break, our new coffee shop on Main Street in Panhandle. We have been able to connect with a lot of people in unpredictable ways.
A great experience for me was the Women's ACTS Retreat last Fall. To watch God working in people's lives in miraculous ways was a great joy for me!!! (Not to mention the great friends we made, especially on the Team.)
The Harvest of Blessings Gala in November was amazing. There was a huge response of love and generosity from so many people - Our hearts were filled with gratitude.
What topped it all off was Christmas! Celebrating the Incarnation . . . God's immense humility and generosity to us all to become one of us! What a self-gift of unselfish love!
What’s the lesson learned from 2021? God is faithful. We put our 5 loaves and 2 fish in and watch what amazing things God can do for us and through us. We are so grateful to God and all who help us to be a Light in the World!
